Breeding MethodBest of 11 accessions. Improved by mass selection and elimination of aberrants during several generations at Plant Materials Center, SCS, Aberdeen, ID. Tested as P-2415.
Intended UseErosion control and soil stabilization on roadsides, airports, dry canal banks, recreational areas, and grassed waterways.
Release Info1954, cooperatively by Idaho and Washington Agricultural Experiment Stations at Moscow and Pullman, respectively, and SCS Plant Materials Centers, Aberdeen, ID, and Pullman, WA.
