DescriptionVigorous, robust, leafy; characterized by excellent early spring growth, abundant basal leaves, numerous stems 40-45 cm in height, and abundant seedheads. Seed matures in mid-June, when plants become dormant until onset of fall rains. Apomictic and has been used in the Carnegie Institution of Washington bluegrass hybrid studies.
